Veterans Community Project of Glendale will be a specialized village of 50 transitional homes with wraparound support services to help Veterans experiencing homelessness regain the dignity of home.

Breaking ground with a groundbreaking model

Founded by a group of combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri, VCP is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since welcoming the first residents in 2018, our model has demonstrated a radically effective 85% success rate in helping Veterans transition from experiencing homelessness to achieving permanent housing.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work that my city is doing to try and address the ever-growing homeless population and to expand services for the Veteran community through very deliberate strategies. Glendale is committed to the success of this development and this model of public-private partnerships, will not only provide immediate care to Veterans, but also serves as a model for other communities to follow.”
